The Indian government is to upgrade the dengue fever diagnostic reagent facility at the National Institute of Virology in Pune in order to meet increased demand following the recent dengue fever outbreak. Five new clinics will also be opened in Hyderabad, Pune, Bombay, Shillong and Tripura to provide diagnosis and counselling for common genetic disorders, reports Reuters.
