Laser has introduced two ophthalmology systems. Simuleyes is a laser surgery simulator which trains surgeons how to perform eye surgery using lasers. PAIS is an archiving and imaging system for storing eye data. Laser, based in Salt Lake City, Ohio, launched the systems at the American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting in Chicago at the end of October. PAIS has not been cleared by the FDA for marketing in the US.
