The Bulgarian parliament has ratified an agreement between the country's government and German company Siemens for a healthcare loan of DM 100 million ($63 million). Under the terms of the deal, Siemens will supply its own radiological products and instal X-ray equipment manufactured jointly with Bulgarian companies. Equipment already in use will be upgraded. The loan is repayable over 10 years at 6% annual interest, says the Bulgarian news agency, BTA.
