Fresenius expands in France and Austria

German dialysis company Fresenius has bought Vial Medical Infusion Systems from Becton Dickinson France for an un-disclosed amount. The acquisition is intended to strengthen Fresenius' infusion technology. Vial Medical, which is based in Brezins, France, had sales of DM 38 million ($25 million) in fiscal 1996.
