Olympus reports 3% sales growth in fiscal 1996

Japanese camera and endoscope manufacturer Olympus Optical has reported a 3% increase in its medical product revenues to ¥45,900 million ($1,560 million). In the annual report for the 12 months to March 1996, Olympus writes that Japanese sales grew 4% to Yen55,766 million while international sales were up 2% to Yen90,134 million.
