Biopool has received 510(k) clearance from the US FDA to market its Chromolize tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) assay kit in the US. The blood test includes the company's Stabilyte blood collection tubes which are necessary for stabilising tPA during blood collection for an accurate measurement of tPA levels. Biopool is based in Ventura, California.
