French reimbursement for diagnostic tests fell just 0.1% in June compared with a rise of 1.8% in the previous month. Spending on auxiliary procedures, which include ECGs and EEGs, rose 0.1% in June following a rise of 1.7% in May. Figures released by national insurers CNAM show reimbursement for small equipment was Fr 104.5 million ($21 million) and Fr 108.8 million for heavy equipment during the month. June reimbursement for pacemakers was Fr 18.3 million and for other internal prostheses Fr 238.7 million.
