Daum gets clearance for BiopsyNeedle:

German company Daum has received US FDA clearance to market BiopsyNeedle, which is designed for MRI interventions. The needle is made of titanium alloy and has a graduated outer cannula to allow greater control of insertion. Daum says the needle shows minimum image artefact. The company, which is based in Schwerin, manufactures MRI compatible instruments and accessories.
