Scottish company DM Wood Medical has supplied eight of its Heartstart 911 automated external defibrillators to G-DOCS, an on-call medical service. The Heartstart 911 is installed in G- DOCS' vehicles which operate across the north-east of Scotland. The service started in March of this year and involves 200 doctors on-call outside normal practice hours in the Aberdeenshire area. G-DOCS is discussing extending the service throughout the UK.
