Endovascular graft shows aneurysm reduction

EndoVascular Technologies' EndoGraft vascular prosthesis has significantly reduced aneurysm diameter and area, providing successful exclusion and repressurisation. In a one-year 34- patient follow-up, researchers from Northwestern University at Evanston, Illinois, looked at changes in aneurysm morphology after implantation of the prosthesis to repair abdominal aortic aneurysm. The results were presented at the annual meeting of the Society for Vascular Surgery in Chicago, US, this month.
