CT film prices suffer unkindest cut in Japan

CT film experienced the largest price cut under the April 1st revision of special treatment material reimbursement prices in Japan (see Clinica No 699, p 10). Official CT film prices were cut by up to 25% and now range from ¥73 to Yen471 ($1.62-4.40), reports Japan Medical Review. X-ray film prices were also reduced between 2% and 25%.
