Executive Summary
Minnesota-based MedAmicus (US) has introduced its LuMax Uroflow system and other enhancements for the LuMax fibre optic cystometry system. The Uroflow allows uroflow and pressure flow studies to determine appropriate therapies for male patients with obstructed voiding due to benign prostatic hyperplasia. Other enhancements introduced at the AUA include reusable fibre optic catheters and a volume infused transducer for marking infused volume of saline at key diagnostic events.
