Fresenius reports 13% rise in first quarter renal sales

German renal care specialist Fresenius has reported a 13% sales increase to DM 337 million ($225 million) for its dialysis systems in the first quarter. This is prior to any boost from the planned takeover of US-based National Medical Care, a deal which is yet to be approved by NMC shareholders.
