It is expected that charges against three employees from German company Degussa for alleged intentional bodily harm concerning amalgam dental fillings will be dropped. Following talks between the company and the public prosecutor's office in Frankfurt, the company is to give DM 1.2 million ($0.8 million) to a research body at Munich university for amalgam research. The decision requires final agreement from the relevant court.
