Executive Summary
Tyco International has acquired Professional Medical Products, a manufacturer of disposable medical products for an undisclosed amount. South Carolina-based Professional Medical, which had an annual turnover of $150 million, will be integrated in Kendall Health Care Products, Tyco's healthcare disposables subsidiary which it acquired in mid-1994. Subsequently, Kendall's performance "outpaced projections", Tyco reported in its fiscal 1995 annual report (see Clinica No 678, p 13).
