Paul Hartmann (Germany) has launched its hydroactive wound dressing, TenderWet, onto the German market. The product is suitable for wounds that need to be kept damp and clean, such as bed sores and leg ulcers. A highly absorbent protein matrix, polyacrylat, is contained in the middle of the dressing. It can keep the wound moist for up to 12 hours, while drawing off necrotic material and bacteria. The dressing is available in different sizes and shapes.
