Guidant's Advanced Cardiovascular Systems division has acquired the exclusive distribution rights to Adam Spence's angiographic catheters in the US. The full line will be marketed as ACS Torquemaster angiographic catheters. The US market for angiographic catheters is estimated at six million units a year. The products will be sold in the US and several international markets through Guidant's Vascular Intervention group.
