Spanish medical technology agency expands studies

Executive Summary
The Spanish medical technology evaluation agency (AETS) has set out a plan of nine studies for the first half of 1996. For the first quarter, these include: endoscopy; endovascular prostheses in peripheral arteries; endovascular prostheses in aortic aneurysms; haemodialysis membranes; and benign prostatic hyperplasia. Studies planned for the second quarter include: health registers in Spain; targeting cervical and prostatic cancer populations; and growth hormone - analysis of the Spanish model.
