Advanced NMR Systems will take over the remaining 39% of Advanced Mammography Systems. Advanced Mammography shareholders will receive $2.63 worth in Advanced NMR stock for each Advanced Mammography share. Jack Nelson, chairman and CEO of both companies believes cost savings will be achieved as a result of sharing certain administrative expenses. Advanced Mammography will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Advanced NMR on completion of the merger. Advanced NMR already owns 61% of Advanced Mammography common stock.
