Spanish team develops Segur-Lock connector

Researchers in Barcelona, Spain, have developed Segur-Lock, an intravascular catheter connector which is designed to prevent catheter-related septicaemia (CRS). Drs Antonio Sitges-Serra and Marcel Segura developed the connector at the Hospital del Mar surgery department in Barcelona Autonomous University.
