ECRI has published evaluations of 19 surgical video systems (SVSs) from 10 manufacturers in the November '95 issue of Health Devices. The systems' performance, efficacy, safety, cost and human factors design were evaluated, and conclusions were based on the usefulness of each system's video performance and efficacious surgery. The issue also includes a selection and purchasing guide to help hospitals optimise buying decisions.
