Getinge CEO becomes new chairman of Swedish Medtech

Swedish Medtech, the Stockholm-based national industry association, has appointed Joacim Lindoff as its chairman. Mr Lindoff, CEO of healthcare technologies and services group Getinge, replaces Mats Weibull, who had served on the association's board for five years. The appointment was made during Swedish Medtech's annual meeting, which took place on 15 April 2010 in Linköping, in conjunction with a conference to mark the association's 40th anniversary.
