Two groups of researchers have confirmed that post-operative radiotherapy increases survival in post-menopausal women with breast cancer who are also receiving chemotherapy. The results of the 1,700 patient study at Aarbus University Hospital, Denmark, and from researchers in British Columbia, were reported in the October 2 issue of The New England Journal of Medicine.
