American BioMed has linked up with Diagnostic Ultrasound to produce and market an antimicrobial Foley balloon catheter. American BioMed will provide its silicon manufacturing technology, while Diagnostic will contribute funding and Implemed's Oligon technology. The worldwide market for Foley catheters is an estimated $500 million annually.
