Gen-Probe and bioMerieux co-operate on deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) tests

bioMerieux, the French immunodiagnostics company, has strengthened its commitment to developing nucleic acid tests through a deal with Gen-Probe. The companies will co-operate on the development of a new assay system and marketing of DNA-based diagnostics.
