UK doctor calls for renal stenting trial

Executive Summary
UK kidney specialist Dr Paul Harden called for a multi-centre trial to compare renal stenting with balloon angioplasty, last week. Commenting on a small study published in the Lancet (April 19th), he told Clinica that there was a real chance to improve quality of life in patients who suffer kidney failure as a result of renal artery stenosis.
