Executive Summary
Universal Medical Systems is to form a 60/40 joint venture with Chinese company Mi Anyang Electronic Instrument Factory (MIEI). MIEI produces ultrasound and X-ray systems and has a production and distribution network in China and other Far Eastern countries. MIEI will provide working capital for the production of its own systems, as well as for some of Universal's products.
