Integrated Surgical Systems has sold its Robodoc surgical assistance system to the University of Innsbruck, Austria. The university will use the system in its orthopaedic department to help plan and carry out total hip replacement surgeries. Deployment of the system, which is expected to be completed later this month, will increase the company's installed base in Europe to seven.
