Executive Summary
UK company Shield Diagnostics has reinforced its relationship with Abbott Diagnostics by appointing Erik Hornnaess to the post of non-executive director. Mr Hornnaess has worked for Abbott Diagnostics for over 10 years and was divisional vice-president for Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Shield and Abbott signed a research agreement in February (see Clinica No 745, p11).
