I-Flow has been awarded a US patent for its Voicelink remote programmable infusion therapy system. The system allows remote monitoring and programming of intravenous infusion pumps via a touch tone telephone. The combination of Voicelink and the company's Verifuse Plus infusion pump provides a tamper-proof system that prevents a patient from accidentally or intentionally changing therapy. I-Flow, based in Irvine, California, has approximately 700 Voicelink systems installed in the US.
