The European hospital disposables market is set to exceed $12 billion by the year 2000, up from $9.8 billion in 1996 and showing annual growth of 5.5%. Growth in the sector will, however, slow after the turn of the century, reaching $14.2 billion by 2003, Frost & Sullivan forecasts in a new report.
