Closure Medical, the wound closure specialist formerly known as Tri-Point Medical, is selling 800,000 shares in a follow-on public offering. An existing shareholder is offering another 700,000. Lehman Brothers, Oppenheim and Sands Brothers are the underwriters. The company, which floated last September, reported $4 million sales and a net loss of $17 million in 1996 (see Clinica No 745, p 10).
