Sun Medical Technology is developing a rotary pump for use inside the ventricles of the heart. The ¥00 billion ($64 million) project, which is funded by the Japanese Science and Technology Agency aims to develop a pump for use in heart-lung bypass procedures and in patients with cardiac failure.
