Executive Summary

A research team at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) is developing an MRI technique for determining the extent of malignant breast lesions. The high resolution technique, called Target MRI, uses signal enhancement ratio analysis software which better reflects internal differences in tumour architecture and biology as well as producing clear and accurate anatomic information.
