The US Ohio district court has given preliminary approval to a settlement by Pacific Dunlop relating to all US litigation over faulty Accufix Atrial J pacemaker leads, which were manufactured by its one-time subsidiary, Telectronics. The settlement is subject to a formal review by the district court on November 19.
