Philips Medical Systems has gained an exclusive contract with Kaiser Permanente for X-ray equipment and customer support services for the next three years. Philips promises that the deal will reduce costs and increase productivity for Kaiser. Philips was chosen following an eight-month review which involved other major names in the diagnostic imaging industry, according to Philips.
