Interventional Technologies has CE-marked its LP Stent family of low-pressure coronary stents. The device features trapezoidal-shaped struts with the narrow edge of each strut facing the vessel wall. This allows the stents to penetrate and support the artery with less pressure-trauma, therefore decreasing the rate of restenosis, the San Diego, California-based company said.
