Executive Summary
Del Global Technologies' subsidiary, Gendex-Del Medical Imaging, has bought selected assets of Acoma Medical Imaging, which produces low-cost radiography/fluoroscopy systems for medical applications. Valhalla, New York-based Del Global says the purchase will bring it significant price/performance advantages for selected global markets as well as the expertise of some of Acoma's key professionals. Separately, Gendex-Del has won a five-year contract, worth around $10 million, with a national purchase group which supplies the North American medical imaging market.
