World Medical has CE-marked its TALENT LPS family of endoluminal stent grafts which are designed to repair balloon-like swellings of the aorta in the abdominal, iliac and thoracic regions. These aneurysms result from the weakening of the artery walls, and if left untreated, continue to enlarge and finally rupture. The new generation of stent grafts, based on the company's original TALENT products, employs a precision woven graft material and a longer, more flexible tip on the delivery system.
