Medtronic has formed a long-term agreement with Premier, the US healthcare alliance, for the supply of cardiovascular products and services. The deal covers pacemakers and implantable defibrillators and Medtronic hopes to include cardiac surgery products by the end of the year. Premier is the largest US healthcare alliance with around 1,800 associated hospitals.
