The Association of British Health-Care Industries has launched a new initiative to help smaller UK medical device companies increase exports. The "Partnerships in Exporting" initiative will encourage companies to compete for larger tenders and share the costs of exporting by forming partnerships. Groups of businesses will be able to offer a wider product portfolio, which should encourage distributors who prefer companies with large product ranges.
