Merck Pharmaceuticals' imaging division is to distribute the Balt Extrusion's Sorcerer microguide wire in the UK. The wire is slightly thicker than a human hair with a diameter of 0.18mm and is designed to penetrate delicate and tortuous cerebral arteries. It is intended for use with the French company's Balt Magic catheter.
