Cell Robotics, based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is to give Chronimed of Minneapolis exclusive worldwide rights to distribute Cell Robotics' Lasette laser finger perforator to be used by diabetic patients in collecting capillary blood. The Lasette uses a beam of laser light to vaporise water molecules in the skin tissue and virtually eliminates the pain associated with using a lancet.
