Pfizer and ChemTrak have signed an agreement for ChemTrak to develop a fingerstick, whole blood test for one of Pfizer's drugs in development. ChemTrak will be paid $400,000 in quarterly instalments and will become the sole manufacturer. This is ChemTrak's first OEM venture based around the AccuMeter technology. The Sunnyvale, California-based company has three products under its own name: A home cholesterol test, an H pylori test and a recently FDA-approved theophylline test, to measure the level of the asthma drug in the blood.
