Henry Schein has bought Bedsole Medical Companies, an independent medical products distributor, for an undisclosed amount. Mobile, Alabama-based Bedsole, which has annual sales of around $29 million, serves the Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee districts, as well as parts of Mississippi. Henry Schein, based in Melville, New York, distributes healthcare products and services to office-based healthcare practitioners and has over 250,000 customers worldwide. Bedsole will be merged with Henry Schein's Caligor medical group.
