Caprius has announced that 26 health insurers in its home state of Massachusetts are reimbursing procedures performed on its Aurora system, the only FDA-cleared, MRI-based dedicated breast imaging system. The system is expected to reduce the number of women falsely diagnosed as having breast cancer. The insurers include Medicare, the federal health insurance plan for the elderly.
