Cardiac Pathways has CE-marked its range of Radii-T mapping and ablation catheters for treating supraventricular tachycardia. The tip of the catheter has a temperature-sensitive electrode which helps to monitor catheter temperature during ablation procedures and prevents the build up of heat. The catheters are available in two versions - one with a thermocouple and the other with a thermistor to suit the different requirements of the radio-frequency generators used.
