FemRx has set up a team of independent distributors to call on over 35,000 gynaecologists in the US. The 60-strong force will initially sell the company's Diva laparoscopic morcellator, and will later add the Opera Star and Flo-Stat systems - for endometrial resection or ablation. The Sunnyvale, California-based company says its Center of Excellence programme, a partnership with healthcare providers, will continue to sell the products directly.
