Dianon Systems has reached an agreement with Cytyc to take its ThinPrep cervical screening smear test in preference to the standard Pap smear. Dianon will use its salesforce - claimed to be the largest in the US anatomic pathology market - to sell ThinPrep as its primary enhanced Pap testing product to more than 50,000 physicians, as well as to payor groups.
