Siemens' medtech division reported sales of DM3.2 billion ($1.8 billion) in the first half period (ended March 31), compared with DM3.4 billion in the previous first half. Adjusted for acquisitions, divestments and reorganisations, the German company, based in Munich, says this represents an 8% sales increase. Siemens says the division's new orders were above average growth over the six months.
